Design and develop three minigame prototypes which focus on key sustainability aspects of the new Charleston East campus in Mountain View, California. The games are developed for a physical installation to be controlled by a trackball input. Create wireframes outlining user flow and all game mechanics, deliver a playable build from a central hub where user is able to select and play through 60 seconds of gameplay across three games. Developed in Unreal Engine 5.
UX and Creative lead of the project, I own the UX deliverables: game mechanics design, wireframes, performing user game testing and moderation, provide insights and actions. Our team comprised of developers, 3D artists, and UI designers.
We received three narrative concepts and gameplay ideas from our clients Deeplocal and Google. We went into sprints for each game: auditing the proposed creative, hosting a workshop to break down the mechanics and move into prototyping sprints.
