Gaming Loyalty Program
UX designer for Supercell’s first Loyalty Program. Led work for stamps collection, rewards market, activities, and user transaction history.
A mobile first experience to serve users who will be led to the supercell store from in game. Create a new Loyalty branded Supercell system so users are able to identify where to accumulate their points.
We needed to create an incentive for users to purchase in-game items in the Supercell store. To solve a more complex UX flow, we suggested features for incentive on both user engagement of Missions but also the ability to acquire exclusive items.
Activities game feature for rewarding community engagement Designed Activities where users redeem points through social engagement or in-game milestones and redeem points. Increased community engagement by allowing multiple users to collaborate for points in a single mission and community events Implemented a streak system for daily missions, enhancing user retention.
Passport Gamification feature rewards transactions Designed "Passport" feature, enabling users to accumulate stamps with each purchase, enhancing customer retention and encouraging repeated transactions. Developed new modules for the Supercell website, including a dedicated loyalty program section that provided users with an easy-to-navigate interface for tracking their "Loyalty Passport" stamps and purchase history incentivizing repeat purchase value.
Rewards Market creates new user incentive Designed UX for a post-purchase redemption flow, enabling users to redeem loyalty points in a hosted marketplace for exclusive digital items expecting to increase in-game engagement. Users can manage loyalty points, exchange them for exclusive digital items, and track transaction logs. Designed market to be scalable per game to allow Supercell game teams to steadily support the program and support a marketplace from 3 items to 100+.
